Early Intervention

Occupational Therapist – Lihue, Kauai(FT)

These positions provide occupational therapy services to children from 0 to 3 years old with special needs.  Experience working with children in the field of early intervention preferred. Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy required and must be a registered Occupational Therapist (OTR) by the American Occupational Therapy Association. 

Physical Therapist – Kapolei, Oahu (FT)

This position provides physical therapy services and implements individualized treatment plans for program participants, including written reports and evaluations. Masters degree and license to provide physical therapy in Hawaii required, experience in pediatrics and/or with children preferred. This position is 20 hours a week.

Special Educator – Honolulu, Oahu (FT)

This position requires the planning and implementation of developmentally and educationally appropriate services for infants/toddlers with special needs in a transdisciplinary model of service delivery.  Home visits and visits to other community program sites are required. Experience with infants and toddlers preferred.  Masters in Special Education or Masters in Education with an emphasis in Special Education required.   

Speech Language Pathologist – Lihue, Kauai (FT)

This position provide speech language therapy services, apply principles and practices to children with special needs, and promote optimum speech language development. Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology or equivalent and license to provide speech language therapy in Hawaii required. CFY accepted.  Experience working with children with special needs in the field of Early Intervention preferred.

Program Managers– Lihue, Kauai (FT) & Hilo, Hawaii (FT) 

These position will be responsible for daily operations and management of the Early Intervention Program, including staff management, coordination of direct services, program planning, contractual compliance, budget/billing, and other overall program administration. Experience in EI, early childhood education or pediatric rehabilitation is preferred, along with a minimum 3-5 years of managerial experience required. Bachelors Degree is also required.

Home & Community Based Services

Program ManagerEwa Beach (FT)

This position leads and is responsible for coordinating all components of the Adult Day Health and Support Services programs, including staffing, training, programming, maintain operating budget, and overseeing Case Coordinators and Direct Support Workers. Requirements: Five to seven years of progressive managerial experience in the field of disabilities. Four year college degree in human services, special education, family health services, or related field is required.
 

Program Assistant Honolulu (FT), Kapolei (FT) 

This position provides personal assistance and care to adults with disabilities including activities of daily living in the Adult Day Health Program. HS diploma or equivalent is required. Experience with DD population is preferred.


Community Based Providers
Oahu (PT/FT), Kauai (PT/FT), Hilo (PT/FT) 

These positions provide assistance and coaching to individuals with developmental disabilities to meet goals and outcomes that increase their independence, develop natural supports and friendships, and contribute to society.  Positions will also coach individuals in a variety of goals, including socialization, communication, and money management. These are entry level positions and a High School diploma or equivalent is required, as well as a minimum of 24 hours experience working with DD population, valid driver’s license, and ability to travel to various parts of the island.
